I am a senior consultant, project manager, and business developer in the renewable energy sector, with extensive experience in the development, engineering, contracting, and construction of onshore and offshore wind farms, solar parks, biomass incineration and biomass digestion.

Since 2002, I have been a project manager for the development and construction of a broad portfolio of renewable energy projects across Europe, (co)managing the realization of wind, solar, and biomass projects and leading complex offshore installation packages. My expertise includes due diligence, construction management, and resolving technical and contractual challenges in large‑scale renewable energy projects. From 2014 onward, I have increasingly focused on innovation: initiating and materializing many impactful innovation projects including technology development for cable lifetime monitoring, drone‑based inspection methods, hydrogen production concepts, and new maintenance strategies for offshore wind.

Windspeed10
In November 2025 I have started Windspeed10 as a one-man company to advise startups and mature companies when approaching or developing new markets and new products. Having worked for more than 10 years in Energy research Center of the Netherlands ECN, and the Dutch national research center in applied science, TNO, I have gained quite some experience in setting up collaborations and (public) funding for innovative producs and projects in particular in the wind energy sector but more general in renewable energy. Next to that I can also bring in my more than 40 years experience in civil engineering and more than 20 years experience in managing renewable energy projects to be your (interim) project manager. The name Windspeed10 indicates my passion for wind- and other renewable energy while the 10 stands for my aim for perfection to make my client happy.
