Windspeed10
In November 2025 I have started Windspeed10 as a one-man company to advise startups and mature companies when approaching or developing new markets and new products. Having worked for more than 10 years in Energy research Center of the Netherlands ECN, and the Dutch national research center in applied science, TNO, I have gained quite some experience in setting up collaborations and (public) funding for innovative producs and projects in particular in the wind energy sector but more general in renewable energy. Next to that I can also bring in my more than 40 years experience in civil engineering and more than 20 years experience in managing renewable energy projects to be your (interim) project manager. The name Windspeed10 indicates my passion for wind- and other renewable energy while the 10 stands for my aim for perfection to make my client happy.
Piet Warnaar
I am a civil engineer and specialist in wind energy met 40 years+ experience. My specialisms are innovations in onshore and offshore wind, building consortia where companies stimulate each other to come to new products and impactful new technologies. Being active in this field for more than 2 decades, I have a huge network, spanning the world.

From my years in onshore and offshore wind, followed by my years as business developer for ECN/ TNO, covering Europe and East-Asia I have built a huge network, covering the entire supply chain.

I am technology driven. I can recognize the potential of an innovation, build the right consortium around it to move it forward in Technological Readiness Level and find (public) funding and markets for the technology.
